Past[]

Zippie was created by Dr. Eggman, back when the doctor was still full of hope.[2] Although Zippie eventually ended up in the storage room in Dr. Eggman's Lair where the doctor kept his failed projects,[2] Eggman would still remember him very fondly.[1]

When Dr. Eggman and Knuckles got stuck in Eggman's storage room, Knuckles found Zippie among the doctor's belongings. Happy to see Zippie, Eggman brought him online. When Knuckles took notice of Zippie morse code-exclusive way of speaking, Eggman had the idea of using morse code to sent messages to other the rooms through the pipes. This allowed everyone in the lair to escape it before the Mootonium in the basement blew the lair to pieces. However, Knuckles saved Zippie from the explosion, much to Eggman's joy.[2]

Personality[]

Zippie is a very simple and base robot. Possessing a rudimentary form of circuitry, he is only capable of communicating through morse code.[2]
