The Yellow Wavy Trail is an object that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is a trail used to modify the playable character's appearance and boost their rewards.

Description

When equipped, the Yellow Wavy Trail takes the appearance of a textured and wavery yellow streak with faint sparkles that the playable character leaves behind them while they move around or surrounds them like an aura when they stand still. This trail stretches out from behind the playable character until it eventually fades away. However, in the inventory, it is shown incorrectly as white rather than yellow.

Overview

In Sonic Speed Simulator, the Yellow Wavy Trail is a collectible trail of the "Epic" rarity. It could be unlocked during the "Mechanic Tails' Ultra Prize Zone" Event at the Spin Wheel in Green Hill Obby 3 after the player has obtained the first tool drop reward from that Spin Wheel's drop list. When using this Spin Wheel, the player has a 25% chance of getting a Yellow Wavy Trail.

In gameplay, the Yellow Wavy Trail lets the playable character produce this trail's textured streak behind them as they move around. In addition, when equipped, the Yellow Wavy Trail will grant additional Experience Points whenever the playable character obtains a Chaos Orb and additional Rings whenever they pick up a single Ring. The player can as well level up a Yellow Wavy Trail for a cost of Rings and/or Red Star Rings at the Upgrade Machine, with level 25 being the maximum level. Leveling up a Yellow Wavy Trail will improve its reward-granting attributes. Additionally, the player can evolve a Yellow Wavy Trail by collecting five Yellow Wavy Trails, leveling all of them up to maximum, and bringing them to the Fusion Machine. Evolving a Yellow Wavy Trail will combine the Yellow Wavy Trails into a single evolved trail at level 1, with boosted base stats compared to the un-evolved version.
