Description[]

The Yellow Tail returned in Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity, once again as Tails' trusty Extreme Gear. This version of Yellow Tail, however, is not explicitly that same as the one seen in Sonic Riders. According to its profile, it is a completely rebuilt Extreme Gear from the ground up, by Tails, with a body made of metal with transforming properties. It is only useable to Tails in normal races, but is usable to all characters (except Dr. Eggman) in Survival Relay.

In Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity, the Yellow Tail received a redesign. In this game, the Yellow Tail resembles a bone-shaped yellow aircraft board. Its mid-section is colored white, with the section of the foremost front being yellow, while most of the rear is yellow, with a dark orange accent. It also has a platform on the top, made of two silver-colored grey foot panels with a grey area connecting them, to balance Tails.

Description[]

The Yellow Tail made another reappearance in Sonic Free Riders. According to its profile, Tails personally customized the Yellow Tail for himself. While it lacks overall power, it makes up for it in racing capabilities. It is only useable to Tails in normal races, but is usable to all characters (except Dr. Eggman and Vector) in Relay Race.

In Sonic Free Riders, the Yellow Tail is given a new redesign. In this game, the Yellow Tail has been given a hull-shaped, but still sleek and thin, board-like design. The edges of the Yellow Tail are colored orange, with red accents on the front and rear, while the top surface of it is grey, with two circles and orange and red markings decorating it.
