Template:Character Yawa (ヤワ Yawa?) is a human resident of Mazuri who appears in Sonic Unleashed. He is the rowdy and talkative grandson of Gwek and possibly the elder's biggest fan. He looks very much up to Gwek and always holds him and actions in high regards, due to his grandfather's (unknown to him) overly exaggerated tales about his past heroic deeds, which he always eats up.

A rowdy and talkative boy who idolizes Gwek, and swallows the elder's tall tales hook, line and sinker. Not long ago, Yawa journeyed into the savannah to punch out elephants, but got lost. Thankfully, he made it home without incident.
