Witch Chao

Witch Chao is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is a Chao that can increase their bonded individual's rewards.

Appearance[]

Witch Chao have light blue pudding-like bodies with round, waterdrop-like heads. They also have large eyes, no noses or mouths, round torsos that are smaller than their heads, smooth feet with no legs, and arms with no visible hands. In addition, neither their arms nor feet have digits. They also have a floating yellow dot above their heads, short and round tails, and a small set of wings on their backs. For attire, Witch Chao wear a black wizard hat and has a black wand.

Overview[]

Sonic Runners[]

In Sonic Runners, the Witch Chao is instead referred to as the Wizard Chao, and is a Power Type buddy that grants a longer time span for all items, aside from Color Powers and Shields.

Sonic Speed Simulator[]

In Sonic Speed Simulator, Witch Chao is a collectible pet of the "Legendary" rarity, available for purchase in Green Hill Zone for 399 Robux for 1, or for 1399 Robux for a group of 5.

In gameplay, Witch Chao can be equipped to the playable character, allowing them to fly by the side of the playable character as they move around. In addition, when equipped, Witch Chao will grant additional Experience Points whenever the playable character obtains a Chaos Orb and additional Rings whenever they pick up a single Ring. The player can as well level up Witch Chao for a cost of Rings and/or Red Star Rings at the Upgrade Machine, with level 25 being the maximum level. Leveling up a Witch Chao will improve its reward-granting attributes. Additionally, the player can fuse a Witch Chao by collecting five Witch Chao, leveling all of them up to maximum, and bringing them to the Fusion Machine. Fusing a Witch Chao will result in a singular fused Chao at level 1.

Powers and abilities[]

Witch Chao are capable of flight. In addition, they possess the power to increase the rewards granted to the person they have bonded with.

Trivia[]

The Witch Chao greatly resembles a Buddy from Sonic Runners, the Wizard Chao, despite there being another Wizard Chao in Sonic Speed Simulator that bares a different appearance to the one in Sonic Runners.
