The White Park Chao Racing Circuit[1] is an event that appers in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by IDW Publishing. It is a Chao Race event that is held regularly in the White Park Zone. Its reigning champion is Clutch and his Dark Chao.[1]
Description[]
The White Park Chao Racing Circuit is a Chao Race where over fifty Chao and their owners/trainers are allowed to enter at once. In order to enter this competition, one must sign themselves and their Chao up. However, there is an age limit for the Chao's owner, as children are not permitted to let their Chao compete for them.[1]
The White Park Chao Racing Circuit features a qualification round and a main grand prix segment. In the qualification round, all the Chao signed up for the event compete together at the same time, but only the first fifty that pass the finish line are permitted to advance to the grand prix.[1] The subsequent segment in the grand prix consists of a number of unspecified races that lead up to a single race that will decide the Chao qualified to enter the semifinals.[2]
The racing course for the event takes place in White Park Grand Chateau. The different racing courses inside the chateau are located inside a miniature stadium that consists of standard rainbow roads, dirt paths, cliffs, water pools, and more rainbow roads leading up to the finish line.[1][2]

Having been held for some time, the shady Chao trainer Clutch would compete repeatedly in the White Park Chao Racing Circuit, eventually smashing all the records and becoming its reigning champion.[1]
Chao Races and Badnik Bases[]
Needing a cover story in order to let Rouge pass as a legitimate person so she could trade E-100 Series spare parts from Clutch for Omega, she, Amy, Cream and Gemerl entered the White Park Chao Racing Circuit with Cheese. However, because Cream was too young to participate, Rouge had to enter herself. At the qualification round, Cheese faced many competitors, including Clutch's Dark Chao. When the round finally began, Cheese was overwhelmed by the number of competitors, but soon managed to take the lead over Clutch's Chao. However, when they came to the flying segment on the racing course, Clutch's Chao knocked Cheese into the water. After struggling to catch up by swimming, Cheese was encouraged by Cream and Amy to make one final flying dash that got them over the finish line and into the qualifying bracket and the grand prix.[1]
The next day, the main grand prix began with the qualified Chao going through a series of unspecified races. At the end of the day, the remaining Chao, among of which was Cheese, had to complete in one final race where the winners got to advance to the semifinals. As the race commenced, Cheese once again came under attack by Clutch's Dark Chao. However, this time, Cheese managed to not only avoid this Chao's attack, but also overtake them and reach the finish line first while Clutch's Dark Chao fell into a pool of water and had to swim to the finish line.[2]
