The White House is a location that appears in the Sonic X anime series and its comic series published by Archie Comics. It is the official residence of the President. During the time Dr. Eggman resided on Earth, the White House's main office room would host numerous crisis reports from the President's secretary related to assaults and threats made by Eggman.

Concept and creation[]

The White House is based on and identical to the real-life building in Washington, D.C. The White House also has a large office room for president, similar to Oval Office.

History[]

Anime[]

Chaos Emerald Saga[]

After Sonic destroyed Eggman's fortress, the President wanted to meet with Sonic and organized the celebration event in the White House. All of Sonic's friends got involved except for Sonic himself, who declined the party in favor of helping Helen visit an island. The President's aide, Jerome Wise, then tried to force Sonic to come to the White House as soon as possible by sending an army after him. In the end, Sonic managed to pay a visit at the White House and greet the President with one of the army's helicopters.[1]

Egg Moon Saga[]

Much later, Eggman created numerous Sunshine Balls to provide the Earth with light for the next few months as his Egg Moon, a rebuilt version of the damaged Moon, had blocked out the sun. This gave Eggman popularity and accolades from the President.[2] However, Eggman's whole plan turned out to be an evil scheme. Kidnapping the president, he took over the White House for himself in order to create his Eggman Empire. Everyone who owned a Sunshine Ball would then get brainwashed into electing Eggman as president. However, Sonic and Tails managed to break into the White House, save the President and others, and put an end to Eggman's political plan.[3]
