The Werewheel Rush is one of the Straight Attack Skills used by Sonic the Werehog in the Xbox 360/PlayStation 3 version of Sonic Unleashed. When using this move, Sonic throws a combo of punches following by a series of cartwheels and a bash.

When performing this move, Sonic first performs the Were-Hammer. After that, Sonic launches a series of offensive cartwheels along the ground, where he punches anyone caught in his path. At the end of his series of cartwheels, Sonic jumps into the air and brings his hands together in a collective fist. He then flips around in the air once and then bring his enlarged collective fist down on the opponent(s) in a powerful bash, utilizing his momentum from his flip to increase the impact.

The Werewheel Rush becomes available in the game when Sonic the Werehog's Combat parameter reaches level 17. To perform the Werewheel Rush in gameplay, the player must press XboxY.pngXboxY.pngXboxY.pngXboxY.pngXboxX.pngXboxX.pngXboxX.pngXboxX.png/PSTriangleButton.pngPSTriangleButton.pngPSTriangleButton.pngPSTriangleButton.pngPSSquareButton.pngPSSquareButton.pngPSSquareButton.pngPSSquareButton.png in quick succession. In gameplay, during the series of cartwheels when using this move, Sonic will move around per default, during which the player is able to control the direction Sonic is heading. Additionally, the final strike from the Werewheel Rush can temporarily stun those enemies hit by it, allowing the player to land more effective strikes.
