The Were-Rush is one of the Skills used by Sonic the Werehog in both the Xbox 360/PlayStation 3 version and Wii/PlayStation 2 version of Sonic Unleashed. When performing this move, Sonic runs up to an enemy and quickly strike the opponent.

Description[]

Xbox 360/PlayStation 3[]

In the Xbox 360/PlayStation 3 version of Sonic Unleashed, the Were-Rush is one of Sonic's Special Attack Skills. When performing this move, Sonic does a dash through mid-air where he swings both of his arms back so they cross over, before crossing both of his arms in front of him, causing a powerful slash attack in a cross chop fashion.

The Were-Rush becomes available in the game when Sonic the Werehog's Combat parameter reaches level 13. To perform the Were-Rush in gameplay, the player must press XboxAXboxX/CrossSquare in succession while performing the Dash. This move is aimed towards smaller enemies and during moments when the player is in a pinch. In gameplay, the Were-Rush knocks back smaller or medium-sized opponents and the player can control which direction Sonic is facing this move.

Wii/PlayStation 2[]

In the Wii/PlayStation 2 version of Sonic Unleashed, the Were-Rush is slightly different compared to its Xbox 360/PlayStation 3 counterpart. In this version, the Were-Rush is an unlisted move and one of the moves that Sonic can perform only while in Unleashed Mode. If the player performs a Were-Wallop whilst in Unleashed Mode, the controls will trigger the Were-Rush instead. This performance of the move is exactly the same as it is in the Xbox 360/PlayStation 3 version of Sonic Unleashed.

On the Wii version, the player must have launched two or three combo moves on the ground and then swing the Wii Remote and the Nunchuck simultaneously to perform the Were-Rush. To perform this move in gameplay on the PlayStation 2 version, the player must have launched two or three combo moves on the ground and then press PSTriangleButton to perform the Were-Rush.
