The Waste Pod is an object that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. It was a machine created by Dr. Robotnik to wipe out the Wolf Pack.

History

The only known Waste Pod was used to destroy the Wolf Pack Freedom Fighters. Though difficult to defeat, it was brought down by the combined efforts of the Wolf Pack with help from Sonic the Hedgehog, Sally Acorn and Antoine D'Coolette of the Knothole Freedom Fighters.

Trivia

• The Waste Pod is adapted from the Doomsday Project featured in the Sonic the Hedgehog animated series. The plot used for the Waste Pod's one appearance was that of the episode "Cry of the Wolf".
