The warping arm attack[1] is a move that appears in the console/PC version of Sonic Generations. It is a technique used by the Time Eater where it attacks in conjunction with its Time Holes.

Description

The warping arm attack utilizes at least two Time Holes created by the Time Eater. When performing this move, the Time Eater slips one of its hands into a Time Hole and out the other without obeying the laws of space, allowing it to attack opponents from afar. This move is very effective at catching opponents off-guard. The Time Eater can also select a specific point in the future for the attack to appear, making the move much more difficult to predict.

In gameplay, the warping arm attack is utilized by the Time Eater during the final boss fight, wherein it uses this move to attack the Super Sonics while it keeps a safe distance away.
