Wario is a long time rival of both Mario and Knuckles
Wario is one of Mario's rivals. His name is a mixture of Mario and a word warui meaning bad or evil hence a bad Mario. He amuses himself with gross humour such as farting and picking his nose.Wario has made several appearances in mario games as well as having two of his own series Wario land and WarioWare
Cross overs
He also apperared in Mario And Sonic At The Olympic Games and Mario And Sonic At The Olympic Winter Games as a Power Character. His final mission was against Knuckles. He appeared in Super Smash Bros. Brawl as a newcomer along with Sonic. However Sonic was an unlockable character and Wario was playable from the beginning. His moves were:
- Wario Bike
- Wario Waft
- Corkscrew
- Chomp
- Final Smash: Wario-Man
Rivalry With Knuckles
Wario is shown to have a competetive rivalry with Knuckles, as seen in Mario and Sonic at Olympic Games.

It's possible that he could be rivals with Sonic since they were both newcomers in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. This is not true because Snake was also a newcomer.
