The Wanted first appeared in Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity as a Skate type Extreme Gear. It can be purchased at the shop for 6,500 Rings.
As a Skate type Extreme Gear, the Wanted resembles a pair of orange roller skates. It is highly detailed, with black accents running along the sides to above the heels, multilayered silver tongues, white accents on the toes and below the heels and darker orange rims. It also has mint colored glass-like domes covering the mechanical workings on the soles.
Abilities and traits
As a Skate type Extreme Gear in Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity, the Wanted is less powerful than most Extreme Gears, but is instead more agile. It can grind in Grind Areas by default and can slide at high speed.
When using the Wanted, if the player completes a race without taking any damage, the Rings earned by the player on the result screen following the race is calculated by the number of Rings in the player's possession multiplied by 1.25 (The result is rounded down to the nearest whole figure).
The Wanted later reappeared in Sonic Free Riders, where it was rebuilt into a Board type Extreme Gear. According to its profile, it is the Extreme Gear for the rider who wants a little thrill. It can be purchased from the shop for 600 Rings.
Following its change into a Board type, the Wanted received a major redesign. In this game, the Wanted's shape resembles that of a straight orange board, with a slightly darker shade of orange on the front edge. It has two silver circles and a small silver area between them on the top surface, along with black highlights running along the edges and from the front silver circle on the surface.
Abilities and traits
As a Board type Extreme Gear in Sonic Free Riders, the Wanted is well-balanced in its attributes, though with slightly below average statistics, and is suited for general riding. It also retains the same ability it had in Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity, meaning that it will grant the players an additional amount of Rings after the race is completed, granted that the players do not take any damage during the race; finishing the race unscathed will double the amount of Rings the player had when they finished the race. It can be equipped with two Gear Parts.
In Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity, if the player follows the conditions, activates both Ring Cap UP Gear Parts and attain the maximum 250 Rings on this Extreme Gear, the player can be awarded with a maximum of 312 Rings.
