Voni-Ca[2] is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. She was a female echidna, who was the wife of Tobor and the mother of Spectre.
History[]
Like most people, she was unable to tell the difference in her husband when he was replaced by the Dark Legion operative Moritori Rex during an attack on Echidnaopolis. How she died remains unknown, although it could’ve been from natural causes. Years later, while going through the family photo album, Lara-Le was unable to find a single photo of either Tobor or Voni-Ca, to which Tobor replied the "enemy would have been thorough."[3]
