On the outskirts of the jungles of Angel Island, Sonic encounters Dr. Eggman, hastily disguised as a salesman. Despite this, Sonic doesn't seem to recognize the doctor and takes notice of the "salesman" hosting a Valentine's Sale on jewelry which is rings that appear to have the Chaos Emeralds on top.
The thought of having the ability to turn into Super Sonic rushes into the hedgehog's mind and he quickly snatches the rings with the "salesman" casually waving him off. Sonic then races past Knuckles, who was sleeping on hammock. Realizing what the blue hedgehog had, he snaps awake and tries to take the rings by gliding over him and snatching them, but Sonic takes them right back.
Amy is then shown walking along the beach and sees Sonic racing toward her with the rings in hand, with her assuming that Sonic's going to propose to her. Sonic, quickly realizing the same thought, immediately throws the rings to Knuckles. Whilst Knuckles is celebrating, Sonic bumps into him, making the echidna drop the rings into the water, inadvertently revealing that the Chaos Emeralds on top of the rings were fake.
Amy takes notice of this and gives a sulking Knuckles her Piko Piko Hammer. Knuckles then heads to the stand where a scared Dr. Eggman immediately runs off while Knuckles smashes the stand to pieces before casually placing an "Out of Business" sign on top of the rubble. A card then drops down, wishing the viewer a "Happy Valentine's Day!"
Trivia[]
The episode marks the only time in this and Sonic Mania Adventures that Amy is wearing her regular classic attire. In the previous episode and in From: A. Rose, she had on a winter coat.
