Vacuum Bot is a character that appears in the Sonic Boom series. It is a robot created by Dr. Eggman that was used for an attempt to defeat Sonic.
Appearance[]
A number of times taller than Sonic, Vacuum Bot is a humanoid robot with a round, red torso and an open recess that stretches across its lower half from its front to its rear. It also has yellow rims around its shoulder areas. In its lower recess, it has a gray pelvis with stubby gray legs and armored white calves with sharp red feet. It also has cyan lights on its "stomach" that resemble abdominal muscles, and a flat white head up front with five black prongs around it. Its head features a gray forehead and mouth plate, a red face, and cyan eyes with slit-like pupils. It also has black arms with red and white plating around its shoulders, red gauntlets with hazard stripes, and four-fingered black hands. For a tail, it has a black tube with a red and white nozzle decorated with hazard stripes and spikes.

Vacuum Bot vs. Sonic and Tails.
Vacuum Bot was first seen being used by Eggman in a battle against Sonic and Tails. While Vacuum Bot successfully caught Sonic by sucking him into it, it was blown to pieces when Sonic hit it with spin attacks from the inside until he destroyed it.[1] When Eggman later tried to keep Sonic from delivering the doctor's order from Meh Burger to his lair within three minutes in an attempt to humiliate him, he had Vacuum Bot attack Sonic alongside an army of his other robots to stall him. However, it failed to keep Sonic from arriving on time.[2]
Personality[]
Like most of Eggman's other battle robots, Vacuum Bot displays little to no personality of its own, being silent, single-minded and unquestioningly dedicated to the doctor's orders.[1]
Powers and abilities[]

Vacuum Bot can create a suction effect through its tail which is strong enough to suck opponents in and keep the oppositely-moving Tailsmobile stuck in a stand-still. Those Vacuum Bot suck in are then contained within it.[1] As an Eggman robot, it is also able to receive power remotely from Eggman's lair.[3]
Weaknesses[]
Described as a "poorly designed tin can," Vacuum Bot is incapable of containing individual within it that are too powerful, making this robot easily breakable from the inside.[1] Also, being an Eggman robot, Vacuum Bot relies on Eggman's lair to provide it with power. As such, should the lair run out of power, then it will too.[3]
