Ugh, you're right - it is called the Perfect Precioustone only in one very particular page of the original manual, so I guess it checks out. Still, the story section and the entirety of the game itself never calls it that name - it's normally just the Precioustone, and that it has been split into smaller Precioustones. Wouldn't that be the preferred terminology, though, since there's way more instances of simply calling it the Precioustone over the Perfect Precioustone? :I'd tell you what the Japanese equivalent is since they have the Japanese manual up as well, but it seems to lack the profiles on non-playable characters. In any case, it's literally Precioustone everywhere else besides the last page of the English manual. I would think if naming usage is inconsistent in the original game, then priority should go to either the version of the name listed first or the one used most often - which in both cases is Precioustone. This talk page has Archives:

AoSTH episodes

I know this is kind of random, but I'd like to get a second opinion before I proceed.

Right now, the order in which we list the Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog episodes is the order in which they are produced. But if the reader would look for them in the order in which they were aired, shouldn't we change the order of episodes to the order in which they were aired on television? -- Burny!~ your friendly neighborhood pyrosaur 17:45, January 16, 2014 (UTC)

But does the current order confuse the reader? -- Burny!~ your friendly neighborhood pyrosaur 17:49, January 16, 2014 (UTC)
I suppose, when you put it like that, you're right. Thanks for the opinion. ;) -- Burny!~ your friendly neighborhood pyrosaur 18:28, January 16, 2014 (UTC)

Re:

It's fine Ultra. I've been meaning to talk to you lately. Mind if you come onto chat for a moment (if it's not too late where you live)? BlueSpeeder (talk) 22:00, January 17, 2014 (UTC)

Just out of curiosity, do you happen to notice that it's been an entire year since you made 10,000 edits? Check on your latest blog you've made and you'll see how I know. BlueSpeeder (talk) 19:29, January 18, 2014 (UTC)

Congratulations, you just went a year without blog posting, no one that I knew has ever went that long without blog posting. You deserve a wiki medal for that! Sonicthehedgehog315 (talk) 22:45, January 18, 2014 (UTC)

Spinoffs:

Then why some characters like Sonic and Shadow have listed abilities from spinoffs like Sonic and the Black Knight and Sonic Battle? Grand Master Luke (talk) 18:06, January 22, 2014 (UTC)

"Super shield":

Sorry to bother you again, but shouldn't this be part of the super transformations categories? I mean, agreeing or not that it is Super Knuckles/Tails, they are some kind of super transformation, Cream says so during the game. And it has the abilities and weakness that a super state have. So, in my opinion, it should be mentioned and listed in the super transformation article, as a different sort of transformation. What do you think abou it? Grand Master Luke (talk) 20:59, January 22, 2014 (UTC)

I'll get to it as soon as I can. -- Burny!~ your friendly neighborhood pyrosaur 21:00, January 27, 2014 (UTC)

Should we also add a side note in the Super Knuckles article that this could be a pseudo super form of him? Or a new (and worse) version of Super Knuckles. Or is it too much speculation? Grand Master Luke (talk) 13:49, January 28, 2014 (UTC)

Yo, we got a problem already. The tutorial stage music isn't in the soundtrack. I'll have to rip it from YouTube if it's going to work. -- Burny!~ your friendly neighborhood pyrosaur 14:24, January 28, 2014 (UTC)

Sorry about the mess on your talk page; I installed a tool that allows a one-click delete and I accidentally clicked "Delete" instead of "Leave message". It should be fixed now. -- Burny!~ your friendly neighborhood pyrosaur 14:24, January 28, 2014 (UTC)

Well, the information is that Cream says that they are in a super transformation, their abilities during the battle, and the data files are called "ss", "st" and "sk". But should I place this trivia in the Super Shield (I think it's a terrible name by the way) article or in their's super forms article? Grand Master Luke (talk) 18:27, January 28, 2014 (UTC)

Just added the topic in the forum. Also noted that in the article that it sates that it is not a super transformation, when the game says it is. Grand Master Luke (talk) 20:01, January 28, 2014 (UTC)

I'll do so. Cream says "Everyone watch your ring count, you won't be able to use super transformation if you use all your rings". So, she is clearly not talking to Sonic alone. Grand Master Luke (talk) 20:09, January 28, 2014 (UTC)

I was wondering if you could re-consider your stance on This Forum. SilverPlays97 (Wall) (Contributions) 00:08, January 29, 2014 (UTC)

Re: Repetition

I don't like the repetition. What I'd recommend is writing one section out in full, then in the section for the other version, say "The story is mostly the say as X, except that Y". Then you can focus on the differences. Just my thought. And that's only if it's really not possible to merge. -- Supermorff (talk) 20:46, February 5, 2014 (UTC)

About "E-Series" robots not needing sources.

I disagree. I think this is exactly the sort of thing that needs to be validated by an official source, since the only places that use the names are fan-sites, and the supposed origin and E-Series linkage is way too obscure to keep using blindly. As for "Sonic Retro is never wrong" - weren't they the first to use Edward Tanaka and Metal Sonic Kai (both proven factually incorrect)? They also have scans of instruction manuals and guide books available, and none of them ever once refer to them as E-Series robots. Other places like Japanese Wikipedia and theghz.com also use the simpler, non-E-Series names. I've made a discussion on the E-Series Talk Page if you want to check it out. LinkTheLefty (talk) 01:08, February 15, 2014 (UTC)

Regarding your recent edits, SonicRetro is frequently wrong, and just because the name has been used on the internet for years doesn't make it right. Official sources are necessary. -- Supermorff (talk) 21:56, February 15, 2014 (UTC)

Well, since Steam is a popular online store, I was thinking there should be a heading with all the games it has, (the ones here) and a separate heading for the bundles, Like Sonic Hits Collection and SEGA War Bundle.

Ah thanks Ultra. I really thought I would never become an admin again. I guess the wiki trusts me again. :) BlueSpeeder (talk) 21:51, February 16, 2014 (UTC)

Hey Ultra! I wanted to contact you regarding all those heal pages for the Sonic Battle Pages. In my personal opinion, I believe that all these Rouge Heal, Sonic Heal, Heal Skill etc. should be merged as one page for inconvenience. Your thoughts? --Toxish 18:37, February 18, 2014 (UTC)

But if there is already a page with all the information, why have separate pages with the same information? --Toxish 18:49, February 18, 2014 (UTC)--Toxish 18:49, February 18, 2014 (UTC)

Sorry about that, I'm limited as I don't have an actual manual for the game you see, as for the name thing, I did made a discussion on one of the skill's talkpage, and someone agreed with me to write the names in full, but I guess the names could changed. Myself 123 19:49, February 21, 2014 (UTC)

Re: Character appearance lists

Fine. I made the same point. But it wouldn't be too long for every character, and in some cases (e.g. if a character only has a dozen appearances) it's a perfectly reasonable place for that information. If it makes the infobox unwieldy, then just don't use that functionality and put the list somewhere else. The ability to add the information isn't bad, as long as people apply some common sense to specific cases. -- Supermorff (talk) 08:22, March 9, 2014 (UTC)

I see you're having tons of fun with the image cropping website. Use it well. :P BlueSpeeder (talk) 13:34, March 10, 2014 (UTC)

Greetings to You!

Hello Ultrasonic9000!  It is such a pleasure to meet you and I am happy to have finally started writing on this wiki.  I am writing to you today so that I may ask you why you reverted some of my edits to the Shadow the Hedgehog page.  I mean, I can understand reverting changies to certain words (changing, "prefers" to, "chooses"), although I do not understand why you reverted my edits that focused on his various powers and abilities.

In all honesty, the last time I checked, Shadow is easily one of the strongest characters in the series, and even in the anime Sonic X, Shadow showed he could effortlessly overpower even the likes of Knuckles as if he was nothing.  He may not be classified as a power character, but that doesn't mean that he is weaker than other characters.  Also, Shadow has lifted large objects before and he is also able to tear through solid walls (this is displayed in Shadow the Hedgehog. Believe me, I know).  I mean, they wouldn't call him, "The Ultimate Lifeform," for nothing, yes?

If you could please inform me of why you reverted my edits, I would appreciate it immensly.  Now I'm not trying to sound assertive, however this is in fact my first time editing on this wiki, so I am unaware if you or other users have set any ground rules for certain forms of edits or not.  Please leave a message on my talk page whenver you get the chance.  Thank you very much for your time a have a good day.

My sincere regards,

Prophet of the Lord (talk) 23:12, March 14, 2014 (UTC)Prophet of the Lord

Advice

Hi, when you put a name you don't have to put it complete always, with one time is enough. And when you try to correct me in pages try to don't do it very often, i consider it annoying. --{{SUBST:Usuario:Game Master 24/Firma2}} 21:02, March 15, 2014 (UTC)

No, when you write a complete name, with one or two times is enough, you don't have to put it complete in all the mentions, it's more specific, if it don't, i would be overly. Besides, if i put it that is because is correct and i like it and there's no reason to remove all the job that i did just because you consider it well, i don't know why did you say that my edition is bad. If you do not like my format, you are welcome to change it to all the pages that do not let you sleep at night good apparently. --{{SUBST:Usuario:Game Master 24/Firma2}} 23:25, March 15, 2014 (UTC)

Before you undo it please look at Generations Classic Tails speaks with a lips sutibly for a young kid and Classic Eggman clearly makes a refernce to being like that when he get's older. Amyrunhammer Sonamyfan666 Follow me inside, outside, through the stratosphere... Amyrunhammer

Unfortunatly that behavoir is also from the same "god" and is more recent so thus we must go with that and not Sonic Jam due to that information being retconed. Amyrunhammer Sonamyfan666 Follow me inside, outside, through the stratosphere... Amyrunhammer

I'm fine with that Sonic Generations is my source so if you can refernce that feel free to. Amyrunhammer Sonamyfan666 Follow me inside, outside, through the stratosphere... Amyrunhammer

That's an unusual image, it does of course contradict Jam information, so the question would be what's the most recent, that image, of the profile given in Sonic Jam? Myself 123 17:54, March 16, 2014 (UTC)

So apperantly there own game doesn't count as them writting down in a clear view of the player and watchers not count be it game concept art or anything else it is viable to take informationsa from for the series. Amyrunhammer Sonamyfan666 Follow me inside, outside, through the stratosphere... Amyrunhammer

Changing content

Why do you always change things to the way you want it. Okay, I get the why you changed it on Sonic's page, but did you seriously have to do the one for the Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog? I just wanted to contribute, but you have to go and change every little edit I make. I can make my own wikia of Sonic if you're going to be a b*tch about me changing things. What's next? You're going to change my profile after I edit it?

I'm agreed with him, why do you always change the content we made? Don't you see that you're erasing all the job we did, replacing it for your own content? Look, i know you want to write a better format to give a more specific information and i understand your reasons, but you always appear an replace our content for your content, and you put innecesary things as full names many times. I'm getting tired or this, no offense but this fact is annoying for the others, you should respect our editions and left the format as it was next time if we haven't got mistakes, or at least stop to do that a bit. I'm not offending, is just only a recommendation. --{{SUBST:Usuario:Game Master 24/Firma2}} 00:42, March 21, 2014 (UTC)

Why do Sonic Adventure DX & Sonic Adventure 2 Battle get separate listings in info boxes and headings?

I don't understand this because both Sonic Adventure and Sonic Adventure 2 have had HD re-releases under their original Dreamcast labels, but are very clearly based on their GameCube counterparts, so the line is a bit blurred here. That, and it can be argued that they're not actually true remakes (like, for example, the mobile re-releases using the Retro Engine programming from scratch), but rather enhanced ports. Wouldn't it just be simpler to use the original title when speaking about it in general, and refer to the specific version if there's any exclusive content not found in certain releases (kind of like how it is already with a side-note for the Hidden Palace Zone of Sonic the Hedgehog 2 only being finished in the mobile release, or the additional playable characters / Super States in the 2013 release of the original Sonic the Hedgehog)? This is like mentioning Sonic the Hedgehog CD, but whenever you do you call it "Sonic the Hedgehog CD (1993) and Sonic CD (2011)". LinkTheLefty (talk) 20:28, March 20, 2014 (UTC)

Not sure what you mean by "as their own games", since they were plainly marketed as enhanced versions of existing products, not really as their own individual games. Either way, I find the way the mobile re-releases of Sonic CD, Sonic 1 & Sonic 2 are handled to be more "clean" (for lack of better word), and I'm still not clear on why the GameCube and mobile re-releases are treated any differently besides some added subtitles in the former group. I think treating all single re-releases one way would be more consistent. LinkTheLefty (talk) 21:50, March 20, 2014 (UTC)

No. It's not that I'm mad at you or anything. I'm made at the fact that no matter how hard I try to make something, either you or Orb criticizes it to death. Oh no, but I or you guys don't do that when you or Orb make a template, it's "perfectly fine". I'm just a bit agitated that any template I make is immediately rejected, or, if not rejected, transformed into something completely different. I just wante to throw in my two cents. BlueSpeeder (talk) 12:06, March 21, 2014 (UTC)

^? And it looks like listing the same game twice is the way it's going to be, but I'll leave one last question for you to consider on this topic - where on Earth is all the Sonic N recognition? Or heck, what about even Sonic the Hedgehog: Genesis for Game Boy Advance? By the same exact logic that counts Sonic Adventure 2 Battle and Sonic Adventure DX: Director's Cut as wholly separate products, these games are being unfairly left out. See, there are other Sonic games out there under slightly altered alternate names for slightly altered re-releases, and being rebranded and remarketed also makes people treat them differently. While the GameCube was a popular hub for Sonic games, there are other instances being ignored where an "enhanced port" was rechristened (because Nintendo?). I think this practice should either be simplified like the handheld/mobile games I've mentioned are already being treated, or it should reach into the series library and be applied to such games as Sonic N and Sonic the Hedgehog: Genesis. I feel it'd just be consistent and unbiased to completely adopt one approach over the other. LinkTheLefty (talk) 17:42, April 29, 2014 (UTC)
Some significant improvements are more subjective than others. There are indeed some objective downgrades, such as most of the graphics that aren't the shinied/poly'd-up playable character models (there actually is less attention to detail overall in the environments and textures, which is especially noticeably back-to-back if you're not playing a later HD version), the unstable framerate (though it might have been cleared in HD versions), ripple water that obstructs the player's view and perception in the GCN DX, compressed Chao Gardens, no Internet DLC (a fair amount of SA2 content was recycled in Battle, but a lot of SA stuff is lost in DX), etc. Some other changes that are just "different" and don't really improve the experience in a great way (ie. billboards, Big vs. a Ring, unlockable costumes Emblem requirements, minor audio changes, Cream the Rabbit, even Metal Sonic), etc. I'd say just about the only real improvements without visible downsides are the shortened load times, Mission Mode, and maybe the Game Gear collection all in DX, the lower-rated of the two (I would say the 2P Mode in Battle and the Chao System, but some players find the ability changes to be unbalanced compared to the original and others prefer Chao Adventure over the Tiny Chao Garden). Not to mention some of the people involved in the Dreamcast games did not return to port them to GameCube, most obviously Naoto Ohshima (a director who was cut). Heck, even comparing them to the Final Mix type of games, I think a decent amount of Japanese players were actually annoyed that their native language dub was replaced, further adding to the idea that they're just "different" and not universally the better - but I digress. Point is, it's pretty debatable just how much of these games were improved when a lot of the changes were really just "repainting", and in a lot of cases the Dreamcast versions just perform better, which is more appreciated in a Sonic game. In the end, they're just largely identical re-releases of the same game, with some things added and others subtracted mostly due to development time and hardware differences respectively. And just like I might like the Mission Mode of DX as a diversion, I also sometimes enjoy the broken Spin Dashing in Sonic the Hedgehog: Genesis. LinkTheLefty (talk) 19:12, April 29, 2014 (UTC)
It's virtually impossible for a port to ever be 100% identical (and they are basically altered ports - people have dissected them to death). What I'm trying to illustrate here is that if the Wiki is going to repeatedly list both the Dreamcast and GameCube versions rather than condense things under the same header like the Christian Whitehead's mobile remakes then at least Sonic N and Sonic the Hedgehog: Genesis deserve to be acknowledged alongside Sonic Advance and Sonic the Hedgehog (1991) since - reputation aside - they are both re-releases under different labels that perform differently and have some alternate features just like Sonic Adventure 2 Battle and Sonic Adventure DX: Director's Cut. Hello Ultra. Recently, you had told me that I couldn't leave "Page One" on the preview pages sections of the issue articles. You specifically told me "it's grammatical incorrect." I agreed and we moved onward. But, I noticed a couple of days ago that you did the exact same thing on the cover comments on the info boxes, putting "Main Cover" rather than "Main cover." Because of this, I will change back the preview pages back to "Page Two" and onward, as not only does the look look horrifying to me, but I figured that if you can do that with the cover comments, why not with the preview pages. BlueSpeeder (talk) 22:10, March 23, 2014 (UTC)

Also, I suggest that we revert it back as the first image being page one. Why? Because it's the interior issue. If there were advertisements in the first five pages, do we have to list them as page four and such? No. I'll be reverting them back when I get the chance. And, I would like to tell you a few things when we are both on the chat room that needs to be discussed. BlueSpeeder (talk) 22:14, March 23, 2014 (UTC)

Hey, do you think you'll ever make it to 100,000 edits? Sesn (talk) 19:19, April 1, 2014 (UTC)

Well, my template version is nealy complete on my anonymous sandbox wiki, so I personally want to work on it by myself. (although, it's not completed just yet). I don't want another incident with a certain "colorful" game I called to make a template on gets completed by someone else. BlueSpeeder (talk) 22:01, April 9, 2014 (UTC)

Man, I really wanted to create the template from scratch. Regardless, since I did called it, I'll add it on the pages later. BlueSpeeder (talk) 00:12, April 10, 2014 (UTC)
Well, iIdont know. You did finish the template. Hmm.. I'll tell you what. I was italicizing the gallery subpages earlier but I probably won't have time. Do you mind finishing itacizing the pages for me? (I left out where after Sonic the Hedgehog (Sonic X)) Sorry. BlueSpeeder (talk) 11:44, April 10, 2014 (UTC)
I meant like itacizing the title pages of the gallery pages with the names of video games or television shows. Like, look at Sonic Lost World/Gallery; the title is mostly itacized because it is a title of a game. Anyway, like I said, I stopped at Sonic the Hedgehog (Sonic X)/Gallery, so you can finish it for me. BlueSpeeder (talk) 16:15, April 10, 2014 (UTC)

Sonic Colors history

There seems to be some inaccuracy in that section. Sonic thought that breaking the generators was the only way to stop Eggman. He didn't even think that Eggman would use the mind-control beam to Earth despite witnessing Tails mind-controlled. The section however says he knew about the mind-control after being attacked by Tails.--SlugDrones • (Contact) 12:58, April 22, 2014 (UTC)

Ah, I see. Well, that was why I reverted your edit. Now I see that you just wanted to smoothen the text. I removed the part about Sonic knowing Eggman's plan without reverting anything you've written. All is well.--SlugDrones • (Contact) 13:11, April 22, 2014 (UTC)

Hm, might wanna hold a discussion about this. It's a big change.--SlugDrones • (Contact) 09:22, April 23, 2014 (UTC)

Maybe you can start one here to get more people involved? I am not sure myself. By the way, why do these cards in Sonic Battle have individual pages? I think it's better to have them merged in one pretty page so that it is more easy to find.--SlugDrones • (Contact) 12:00, April 23, 2014 (UTC)

Ah, thank you for explaining that. I suppose it would be too long. Is there a page that lists the names of these cards and a brief description of what these cards do? If not, I would suggest making one. Not every reader would know we have pages on every card.--SlugDrones • (Contact) 12:14, April 23, 2014 (UTC)

Hey, Ultra. Long time no see, matey. Yeah, regarding the warning, it's all right, it just seemed as if that user would feel "threatened" or would probably be "unaware of your purpose".

But in a better topic, I've got 23 days left for a full-on return. How sweet of you to care, yo. --DiscoDiva Surnik 13:34, April 27, 2014 (UTC)

No, I plan to seperate Countdown to Chaos as its own page when I have the chance on an actual computer. And, we all know Dark Gaia is behind it; it's just waiting to have the big reveal. BlueSpeeder (talk) 13:45, April 27, 2014 (UTC)

Score! Well, I can't blame you enough, it's been 5 months and I've left it incomplete, however, rest assured, in 23 days, I'll get them done, and it's a promise. For now, I need to get back to my work, so talk to later, alright? --DiscoDiva Surnik 13:50, April 27, 2014 (UTC)

If it isn late on your side of the planet, can I discuss something's with you on chat? BlueSpeeder (talk) 19:46, April 27, 2014 (UTC)

I tried as hard as I could on talking about the event, but I realized I needed to add plot elements on the last section. Is it good? BlueSpeeder (talk) 22:47, April 28, 2014 (UTC)

I'm fine with the revisions. I was trying to focus on the event. My only problem is inserting the events of the Chase during the Great Chaos Caper. Other than that, everything looks good. (Jus keep the pictures... You can remove the Muttski picture, though) The whole Sonic's World thing is something I'm following by as you follow by your rules: we cannot go against the will of God, and in this case, Mobius is no longer the planet. Has Mobius been mentioned at in the comics? No, only Sonic's World. I'm still standing firm with that until solid evidence comes in that the planet is still Mobius. Didn't I tell you I would still work on them after I finish the Sonic Colors script? Still, you have a point. Hey Ultra. I'm starting to have doubts on the Post-Super Genesis Wave category. Your comment on the PSGW character category made me rethink that maybe we shouldn't do something like this... BlueSpeeder (talk) 12:06, May 16, 2014 (UTC)

Could I have a word with you on chat real quick? BlueSpeeder (talk) 12:52, May 18, 2014 (UTC)

Post-Super Genesis Wave

Now thinking about it, we should have a category that contains all of the characters that were introduced in the comics. This doesn't make it seem they were created just for the world, so that might be a good idea. BlueSpeeder (talk) 14:09, May 18, 2014 (UTC)

Howdy, Ultra. I added a World Tour section to the Template:Transformed Info, so I just wanted to know if you're okay with that. --Toxish 11:26, May 22, 2014 (UTC)

Ohmygod, thank you so much. It means quite a lot coming from you, obviously. And about the link; yeah, I guess that seems more appropriate. --Toxish 11:31, May 22, 2014 (UTC)

About Something

Let's cut to the chase; you're acting like a hypocrite. Why? Let me explain:

See, you followed Morff's example of See Also sections, and you've been hammering it to me with a nail whenever I want to add "For more terms of Sonic, see blah blah blah." Yet, you did the EXACT same thing that I used to do (and, honestly, urge to do) on the Dark Gaia page. Why? Because you can't tell the difference. I'm sorry, but that is weak. You can CLEARLY tell the difference of an article if it has an "(Archie)" tag on it. Because you're doing this, I'll be proceeding to add the top see also-like sections on articles unless you like to throw in your two cents. BlueSpeeder (talk) 13:47, May 24, 2014 (UTC)

Yes. BlueSpeeder (talk) 13:53, May 24, 2014 (UTC)

Stub/Incomplete

'ello, Ultra! Just thought I'd stop by to both thank you for your coordination and ask you a question about a template. Now, we do have Template:Stub, which requests expanding a page, but at the same time we have Template:Incomplete, which, I assume, has the same purpose. Is this so? And if so, shall we only keep one? --Toxish 14:25, May 31, 2014 (UTC)

Hm, I guess that clears the confusion. For the transformed pages, I'll stick with the Incomplete Template. Thanks for the help, mate, can always count on ya. --Toxish 14:37, May 31, 2014 (UTC)

Edit

We are supposed to combine our efforts to make the best articles we can, but you and BlueSpeeder treat it as if it is property invasion. I want you to consider that you do not own the articles you make. We contribute, we do not take ownership of anything.

I suggest you not to take my edits as some attack or invasion to your contributions. I do not mind you reverting my edits as long as you give an explanation, but I have noticed that my contributions have been giving you distress. I don't know how to change that, but I can try, I suppose.--SlugDrones • (Contact) 12:31, June 1, 2014 (UTC)

'ello, Ultra, it's me again. And of course, I have another question to ask, if it isn't too much trouble for you. Well, I can't exactly find a category for Manual images or Scanned images, but, I'm still unsure if we have one, since there should be one. Could you let me know before I make the category? --Toxish 10:48, June 8, 2014 (UTC)

Ah, okay. Well, I still think there is a need, since I do have some to upload and there is already a good... say 30 for Sonic '06, since it will be easier for readers to navigate manual images this way. Anyway, thanks for the advice one again, mate. --Toxish 10:57, June 8, 2014 (UTC)

It's more or less one of those licensing practices or something along those lines (though I'm not sure where precisely), but I'm following off from here (despite that we're not Wikipedia). Mystic Orb (TP.CO.EC) 09:56, June 9, 2014 (UTC)

Fair point; that name comes from the original manual, so it could be an early form of the team. Though I made Chaotix Crew into a sort of disambig between that and their comic version because I don't think the remaining three ever went under that name since they were brought back in Heroes... LinkTheLefty (talk) 18:52, June 9, 2014 (UTC)

Okay, but maybe there could be a note in the Chaotix article saying that the name Chaotix Crew fell out of use when they were dwindled down to three in Sonic Heroes. LinkTheLefty (talk) 19:00, June 9, 2014 (UTC)

Maybe that's true, but the fact is there's no modern game source that still calls them the Chaotix Crew ever since they reappeared together. I don't even think the Japanese manual calls their group any specific name, so the designers of Sonic Heroes might not have even been aware there was an existing team name for them. That's also not counting whichever way you take Iizuka's quote of them being redesigned/reinvented, since they disregarded some of the characters' history to make them more presentable for fans not previously aware of them. So overall, even though it's (versions of) three of the five same characters, I don't think that makes the terms totally interchangeable... LinkTheLefty (talk) 19:13, June 9, 2014 (UTC)

But it is official. Maybe I'm misunderstanding something, but...are you saying that English manuals should not count? LinkTheLefty (talk) 19:21, June 9, 2014 (UTC)

Oh, okay. With this in mind, how about the Knuckles' Chaotix section of the Chaotix article gets revised to something like, "They were originally brought together during the events of Knuckles' Chaotix, when Dr. Robotnik controlled Newtrogic High Zone. To differentiate between the team of five friends who investigated the island and the two robots who joined them, the former was given the name The Chaotix Crew while the latter was dubbed Robotnik's Mechanix in International instruction manuals. After this adventure, Knuckles resumed his guardian duties and Mighty ventured to parts unknown; Vector (as the new leader), Espio and Charmy would later be revealed to remain as the core group, re-established as a detective agency." LinkTheLefty (talk) 19:42, June 9, 2014 (UTC)

Okay, with that settled then I'll leave it up to you whether you want to leave the current disambig as-is or if you'd think it's better to rather have that redirect to one article over the other. (I'd say that if it were to be changed, I believe Sonic the Comic reused the Chaotix Crew way more times, so maybe that would be the best default.) LinkTheLefty (talk) 19:59, June 9, 2014 (UTC)

Warning

I noticed that you replaced the image of this with another one that is BARELY any different. I've reverted back. This is your first warning; all you are simply doing is essentially marking your name on there. Therefore, if you refuse to follow orders, I will block you for pride-fullness as well as edit warring. Sorry. BlueSpeeder (talk) 13:44, June 15, 2014 (UTC)

Well in hindsight, it did look like you were trying to put your name on it. I also talked with other users and they thought so too. But in any case, I didn't realize the foot thing, so you can revert the image back. BlueSpeeder (talk) 13:55, June 15, 2014 (UTC)

Blaze's world

There are other article names out there that don't force the capitalisation, so what custom is this? LinkTheLefty (talk) 06:56, June 20, 2014 (UTC)

Certainly. For one thing, there's all sorts of zone boss and final boss articles. There's others like Eggman's chair and Doctor Eggman's drone. These examples show that not all articles have to force capitalisation when there is none... As for Sonic's World - I took that to the Talk Page, and I'm told that Archie does use Sonic's World rather than Sonic's world, and it is an Archie page after all so it's fair game. LinkTheLefty (talk) 14:28, June 20, 2014 (UTC)
Sure, we'll leave it at that, then! By the way, a few things... since the chair and drone articles seem to have been deleted, did you remember to save some of those pictures (the former has some cool/valuable concept art from Sonic CD)? Also, how would you feel about a new "foreign language" tag for article names that derived from non-English Sega sources, since I notice there are other wikis that do it and it's probably a good idea to have the clarification (I think I'll take it up with Editing projects)? LinkTheLefty (talk) 17:38, June 20, 2014 (UTC)

III the Third / XVI the Sixteenth?

Good job on that Princess Elise the Third find! I've only played through '06 once, so it's probably my least-familiar main game. After looking at a Japanese clip and seeing that it's pretty much the same, I thought about the Battle Kukku XVI article. Maybe, to maintain consistency based on how her full title was officially translated (spelled out rather than the standard roman numerals), the Battle Kukku XVI page should instead be "Battle Kukku the Sixteenth"? If I remember right, Speedy was only referred to as "the sixteenth Battle Kukku" by Archie, so that might also support that... LinkTheLefty (talk) 17:03, June 21, 2014 (UTC)

Precioustone

Ugh, you're right - it is called the Perfect Precioustone only in one very particular page of the original manual, so I guess it checks out. Still, the story section and the entirety of the game itself never calls it that name - it's normally just the Precioustone, and that it has been split into smaller Precioustones. Wouldn't that be the preferred terminology, though, since there's way more instances of simply calling it the Precioustone over the Perfect Precioustone? LinkTheLefty (talk) 19:15, June 28, 2014 (UTC)

I'd tell you what the Japanese equivalent is since they have the Japanese manual up as well, but it seems to lack the profiles on non-playable characters. In any case, it's literally Precioustone everywhere else besides the last page of the English manual. I would think if naming usage is inconsistent in the original game, then priority should go to either the version of the name listed first or the one used most often - which in both cases is Precioustone. LinkTheLefty (talk) 19:47, June 28, 2014 (UTC)
