This is an SNN Special Report and the rumors are true! Tons of sources have just came that a Sonic Movie is now under production and it's going to be released by Sony Pictures. We don't know when it'll come but Neal Moritz, who also done 22 Jump Street, will be the producer of this film and the executive producer will be Toby Ascher, with Sega-Sammy's Marza Animation Planet to do this film towards Animation, I suggest. It will be both a CG and Live-Action film (similar to those Transformers and TMNT Movies that are coming up soon or even The Smurfs which Sony Pictures also done.). The Hollywood reporter claimed that Upright Citizens Briage alumn Evan Susser and Van Robichaux are doing the Screenplay. In addition, Minghella and Andera Giannetti will be checking on what's happening with the project. Ever since December of last year, Sonic Movie domains were brought by Sony Pictures and as we got the reports, they have been confirmed. We don't know if there is going to be more of a movie series or a single film and we don't know about the characters, actors, story, etc., but we'll have to wait and see and as always, keep it locked to SNN and @SonicNewsNow on twitter for the latest.
