Hi people! The name's Grace but you can call me Neon Girl Star (or Neon).

Favorite characters

I like Silver the Hedgehog and Blaze the Cat, I also support them as a couple (Silvaze).

My favorite Sonic games

Favorite non-Sonic franchises

Beside Sonic, there are other video game franchises I like.

Final Fantasy

This is Square Enix's most well known franchises, I never played any of the games but I would like to in the future. I'm not keen on the ones from 1 to 6, too medieval-like for me. 7 and 8 are ok but I would like them better if they had voicing acting in them. I like the Final Fantasy 10 game (the first game to have voice acting) and it's sequel the best. Tidus and Yuna are the most romantic couple I've seen in a video game.

Ratchet & Clank

I've known this series for years, ever since the first game. I understand that a lot of people disliked the game because of the personality of the character Ratchet but I never took a lot of notice of his attitude except I used to point out his anti-social interaction towards Clank. As the years passed my family got more of the games, and I soon began to notice Ratchet's personality change from the first game to the second game (Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando). In Europe (that's where England is as you'll already be aware of), most of the main series games got their titles changed and the ones in the "Future" trilogy had the word "Future" removed, but I prefer to call them by their actual names. Also, many of the game's boxart covers were changed outside of North America.

However I noticed that the most recent games have been a little lame. All 4 One had this Co-Op gameplay but I really don't think it suits the series, especially since all four characters playable (Ratchet, Clank, Qwark and Nefarious) had the same fighting style. I'm alright with the way Ratchet fights though, it suits him the best. The other three character's fighting style seemed to have been based on Ratchet's. Also Dr. Nefarious was mainly blue in most of the other games but this game shows him now purple. I also dislike the idea of Clank using weapons. And Qwark's eyes, which were green in many games, have become blue starting with this game. Full Frontal Assault had a short storyline, the character Captain Qwark formed the Q-Force again (Ratchet & Clank: Up your Arsenal introduced the name), this time it consisted of Ratchet, Clank and Qwark himself. They took on a villain named Stuart Zurgo who is a former Qwark fan and wanted revenge on Qwark. It wasn't great, should've had a larger and better story where it would be more easier to understand. It was also very hard to play. Into The Nexus returns to the traditional Ratchet & Clank gameplay but the game was another short one. I read that there was good reviews on the game, but I don't like the fact that Cronk and Zephyr have been killed-off in this game. All three games had one save file each, but the others games let you have as many save files as you like. This is something that Insomniac Games should be making possible again.

I hope that future games (not talking about the Future Trilogy) will go into more detail about Ratchet's past, maybe reveal more about his family, including the identity of his mom and explain more about his dad (who has been revealed to be named Kaden). Unlike the Sonic games, the Ratchet & Clank series actually has some genuine romance in it. Ratchet has more love interests than other characters in the series, two notable ones are Sasha and Talwyn, I think Ratchet's now in a relationship with Talwyn although I still support Sasha and Ratchet as a couple. Truthfully in my opinion, Ratchet X Sasha is a more realistic couple. Clank's met a few girls who seem to have feelings for him (at least four), Don't know about Qwark though. Nefarious has possibly been interested in Courtney Gears (in Up Your Arsenal) but that didn't go well between the two. He was later the boyfriend of Cassiopia (in A Crack in Time), however while Ratchet is on planet Vapedia, Nefarious and Cassiopia got mad and yelled at each other. Also Cassiopia died after Ratchet's fight with her (it was asumed that she did).

The games I like in this series include: Ratchet & Clank, Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando, Ratchet & Clank: Up your Arsenal and Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time. I have played all of those games.

And I'm thinking of joining the Ratchet & Clank Wikia where I can add my knowledge of the series on it, but right now I wanna contribute only on this site.
