Fifty years prior to the events of Sonic Unleashed, Ursule was out on the ice floes in Cool Edge with Jari-Pekka in the evening. There, she found herself taken by the hand by Jari-Pekka, who proposed to her and made the promise that he would store away some dried meat on their wedding day, which they would then eat on their 50th wedding anniversary. Later on, Ursule married Jari-Pekka and they eventually had a son named Jari-Thure. At some point during her marriage, Ursule learned that Jari-Pekka had forgotten where they had their first date, which she heavily scolded him for.
During the events of Sonic Unleashed, Ursule's and Jari-Pekka's 50th wedding anniversary had arrived, and Jari-Pekka managed to remember their anniversary and his promise to Ursule. As Jari-Pekka brought her his stored-away meat, however, Ursule was confused and asked him if this was some kind of ancient beef jerky. Jari-Pekka explained to her that it was their anniversary and what he had promised, but Ursule then told him that she had forgotten that it was the time of year for their anniversary, leaving him in shock and disappointment afterwards.
Ursule later watched on in horror with the rest of her village as Dark Gaia began to cast the world into darkness while maturing into Perfect Dark Gaia, but rejoiced as the world returned to normal following Perfect Dark Gaia's defeat at the hands of Super Sonic and the Gaia Colossus.
Wii/PlayStation 2[]
Ursule never made an in-game appearance on the Wii/PlayStation 2 version of Sonic Unleashed. She did however appear during the pre-rendered cutscenes, where she and rest of her village watched on in horror as Dark Gaia began to cast the world into darkness while maturing into Perfect Dark Gaia, but rejoiced as the world returned to normal following Perfect Dark Gaia's defeat at the hands of Super Sonic and the Gaia Colossus.
Personality[]
Ursule is an old lady who just loves to give, if only to sell more product from her trading post. Ursule is very happy about the predicament of having the only trading post within several miles, as it means she gets all the customers to herself.
