The Upper Spin[1] is a move that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is a technique used by Sonic the Hedgehog where she shoots upwards with a Spin.
Description
When performing the Upper Spin, Sonic curls into a ball before shooting himself directly upward with a fast dash. As he does so, he will be surrounded by a yellow cone of energy.
In gameplay, the Upper Spin can only be used when Sonic has Knuckles the Echidna as his partner. When used, this move allows Sonic to make a short dash directly into the air that can damage enemies and give him a bit of elevation. To perform the Upper Spin in gameplay, the player must press up on
