Purpose
Increase or decrease the rotation speed.
Description
Two separated, round-shaped stripe blocks.
Up [1] (アップ[2] , Appu ? and Down [1] (ダウン[2] , Daun ? are objects that appear in the Sonic the Hedgehog seriesSpecial Stages that can adjust the rotation speed of the mazes inside.
Description [ ] Up/Down are round blocks with with red and white stripes. Words "UP" or "DOWN" are written on the center of the block.
Overview [ ] In the 16-bit version of Sonic the Hedgehog Special Stages , typically placed on the sidewalls and corners of the rotating mazes. Both types of blocks are able to control the speed of camera's rotation when the player touches one of them. When touching the block that states "Up", the speed of the camera's rotation increases, while touching "Down" blocks, the speed of the camera's rotation decreases.
