"UP ON THE GREEN HILL" (次のせ〜の! で - ON THE GREEN HILL - Tsugino Seno! De - ON THE GREEN HILL -?) is a song by Miwa Yoshida and Masato Nakamura, from Dreams Come True.
The Japanese "DCT" version was first released on 7 July 2021. The Japanese "MASADO and MIWASCO" version of the song was later released on 6 September 2021.
For the release of Sonic the Hedgehog 2 in Japan, an English version of the "MASADO and MIWASCO" version was created to promote the Japanese-release of the movie. It premiered on 6 April 2022. This version also appeared in the Sonic the Hedgehog Tribute album. The English version of the "DCT" version later released on 25 April 2022. Additionally, the song itself is exclusively included in the Japanese version of Sonic the Hedgehog 2.[5]
The song itself was also used in some commercials in Japan.
