The Ultrasonic Speed Amplifier[1] is an object that appears in the Sonic Boom television series. It is a device invented by Tails to increase Sonic's speed.

The Ultrasonic Speed Amplifier consists of two components: the control panel and the chest plate. The control panel is a metal panel with a yellow console. To experiment on how to increase Sonic's speed, Tails invented the Ultrasonic Speed Amplifier. However, Sonic got stuck on another plane of existence when using the device. After tracking down and contacting Sonic with the device, Tails used another chestplate to enter Sonic's plane to rescue him. While the device lacked the power for both of them to return home, Sonic was able to run faster than the machine could and pull Tails with him as he rejoined their home plane, though Tails lost the control panel on the other plane.[1]
