To use Ulala's All-Star Move, the player must have obtained the All-Star Item from an Item Box during a race. When in use, Ulala will get a temporary increase in speed while also being able to use a unique and special ability exclusive to herself. In addition, one of her theme songs will play in the background. She will also be accompanied by morolians.
During her All-Star Move, Ulala will use a variation of her Chu Beam; one with the same heart designs as the Hey Beam but will act as her primary weapon instead.
In Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing, Ulala's All-Star Move is referred to as Tension Blast. When activated, Ulala will call upon Blib to take control of her vehicle, the Astro Glider. While he drives the vehicle, Ulala stands on top and takes out her Chu Beam, which can fire pink hearts to stun and attack her racing rivals. The heart from the Chu Beam will home on an opponent, and when it hits a rival, Ulala will do a brief dance before continuing to shoot her weapon. At the end of Tension Boost, Ulala will call out Blib and take back her seat inside her Astro Glider and continue the race as normal.
During Ulala's All-Star Move, the song “Asteroid Belt Go! Go! Astrobeat Jr.” will play in the background.
Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed[]
In Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed, is referred to as Dance Blaster. When activated, Ulala will continue to drive her vehicle while two morolians (Plurp and Yaroo) will use their Chu Beams to take out opponents. Her vehicle will also change from its current mode into its plane mode. While Dance Blaster gives Ulala the trademark speed boost, the Chu Beams will be fired in threes at a time and will act similarly to the Ice Cannon. When hit by Dance Blaster, the racer will rise from their vehicle and briefly dance, while continuing the race as normal.
During Dance Blaster, the song “Introducing Ulala!!” will play in the background.

The theme song that plays during Ulala's All-Star Move (“Asteroid Belt Go! Go! Astrobeat Jr.”) is the same one that plays during Pudding's Superstar State in Sega Superstars Tennis.
The song is also a reference to her vehicle, the Astro Glider.
