Tyson Hesse is an American artist. He used to contribute to Archie Comics' Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs, and has contributed to IDW Publishing's Sonic the Hedgehog comic series. He has also animated for the opening cutscene and the pre-order trailer of Sonic Mania and has directed for Sonic Mania Adventures.

History

Archie Comics

Tyson Hesse first approached an editor of Archie Comics at one of the annual Comic Cons, presenting his fan comic, "Sonic's Big Fat Adventure". He was soon employed by the company to work on the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series.^[1]

IDW Publishing

After the license cancellation of the Sonic the Hedgehog series held previously, Hesse was commissioned for cover artwork of the new Sonic the Hedgehog series comic run published by IDW Publishing.

Bibliography

Hesse is notable for his work in the The Amazing World of Gumball and Bravest Warriors comic series.
