The Type-J is an object that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by IDW Publishing. It is Jet the Hawk's personal Extreme Gear.

Description

The Type-J is designed as a basic, yet very detailed, green hover board. The edge on the front has a stripe of forest green running across it, with one line down the middle. Also, the edges on the mid-section are mint green. Lastly, the foot plate on the upper surface of the Type-J is colored cadet gray and slate gray, with a yellow border around it.

History

Bonds of Friendship

Having targeted the Mineral Museum in Spiral Hill Village, which held valuable minerals, Jet used his Type-J to plunder the Mineral Museum and escape back to the blimp with the spoils alongside Wave and Storm.

Trivia

• The Type-J is based on the Extreme Gear with the same name that debuted in Sonic Riders.
