The Trooper[1] is a character that appears in the Sonic Boom television series. He is an anthropomorphic animal and a police officer from the boonies on Seaside Island.

Appearance

The Trooper is an average-looking anthropomorphic animal with auburn fur, a peach muzzle, green eyes and a brown nose. He also possesses small and sharp ears on the sides of his head and a fox/wolf-like tail with a peach tip. His attire consists of a blue police jacket, black biker gloves, black shoes and black sunglasses. When casual, he wears a black police hat with a golden emblem, and when riding his motorcycle, he wears a white helmet with a grey edge, grey straps, and a yellow star symbol on the front.

Season two

While the Bike Chain Bandit was on the loose, the Trooper would suspect anyone with chains to be the bandit's associate. This prompted him to arrest innocent people, like Salty.[2]

Spotting the Dude-Mobile going too fast, the Trooper gave its drivers a speeding ticket. Encountering the crew again the next day, the Trooper thought them to be the Bike Chain Bandit's associates after spotting chains on their backseat, and arrested them. After locking Dude-itude up however, the crew escaped when the Trooper got distracted by their fellow prisoner. While chasing after Dude-itude, the Trooper nearly fell into a lava river, but was saved by Tails. After Dude-itude then brought him the Bike Chain Bandit, the Trooper apprehended the latter and let the former go free.[2]

Powers and abilities

The Trooper is a very skilled motorcycle driver, capable of keeping up with the Dude-Mobile across various and rigid terrains too tough for the averange driver.[2]
