Triple Trouble is a location that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. It is a pocket zones adjacent to the Prime Zone that was incidentally created when Crabmeat caused a Chaos Emerald to split in half.
Description[]
From the outside, Triple Trouble resembles a very small stadium that appears to have three entrances. Uniquely for a Zone, it contains many other Zones inside of it, which resemble the locations of Sonic the Hedgehog Triple Trouble. These Zones ultimately led to a room where the Chaos Emerald that created it was located, though it was taken out shortly after.
History[]
Tttriple Tttrouble!!![]
As opposed to Collision Chaos Zone, Triple Trouble's creation was the result of pure happenstance. Dr. Ivo Robotnik had created a large mega-engine to pollute all of Mobius within a manner of days, and placed a Chaos Emerald onto a three-pronged power inducer to power it. However, his lackey Crabmeat had under misassumption set the controls for a six-pronged inducer. Due to the imbalance, the Chaos Emerald caused a small explosion and split into two, with one half landing in the Great Forest–this would lead to Triple Trouble's spontaneous creation.
Sonic would soon run inside the Zone in search of the Chaos Emerald, unknowingly followed by the bounty hunter Nack the Weasel. Sonic sped quickly through the Zones within before finally arriving at a room that held the halved Chaos Emerald, but got knocked out by Nack right after. It is unknown what became of the Zone after Nack left with both Sonic and the Chaos Emerald.

Trivia[]
- Interestingly, this Zone has multiple other pocket Zones inside of it.
- There is a silhouetted figure resembling Dr. Ivo Robotnik named "Eggman" as well as Badniks present in the Zone, despite Dr. Robotnik not ever having gone near it. It is unknown if Eggman is this Zone's counterpart of Robotnik, or what happened to him after Sonic defeated him in Atomic Destroyer Zone.
