The Tridrill is an enemy that was set to appear in the Sonic the Hedgehog series.
Overview[]
Tridrill is one of the more common Badniks in Sonic X-treme, appearing in a multitude of test levels, magazine screenshots, and in the 714 prototype, where it appears in Jade Gully Zone Act 2. It has two types of behavior: one static, and the other that patrols left and right. It seems to attach with its three spikes and the drill on its head, from which it gets its name.
Tridrill also appeared in the very earliest stages of Sonic X-treme's development in Sonic Mars, where it moves up and down.
