The Air Trick system is a feature in the Sonic Riders series, which is used for refilling the Air Tank/Gravity gauge. A trick is performed   When a character jumps off  ramps or sides of another character turbulence and moves in different directions in air.Air Trick system has a scoring system which depending on the number and quality of tricks gives scores."X" and "SS" scores are among the best.

Sonic Riders Air Tricks

For performing tricks in the first title of Sonic Riders series ,first press and hold down the jump button, then release it on a ramp to jump or simply reach sides of your opponents turbulence and press jump then use arrow keys/ control stick to move character in different directions(all of the directions).It is very Important to time landings and land correctlly to gain points.Based on the tricks performed and your landing the score is given and the air meter is refilled .

Sonic Riders:Zero Gravity

In the second title Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity performing tricks, alongside other things, has changed. Now tricks are performed only in one direction. To perform Air Tricks you need to press the jump button on a ramp and use control stick to rotate the character in on of the main directions. Depending on your jump timing the score is given and Gravity Power is gained.

Sonic Free Riders

In the last part of these seriesSonic free Riders many things has changed due to Kinect game play. This time player must jump  off the ramps him/herself and move his/her body in specific directions(e.g moving his/her hand in front of him/herself).depending on timing and the tricks performed a score is given and the gauge is refilled.
