Traveler Chao

Traveler Chao is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is a Chao that can increase their bonded individual's rewards.

Appearance[]

Traveler Chao have green pudding-like bodies with round, waterdrop-like heads. They also have large eyes, no noses or mouths, round torsos that are smaller than their heads, smooth feet with no legs, and arms with no visible hands. In addition, neither their arms nor feet have digits. They also have a green orb above their heads, short and round tails, and a small set of wings on their backs.

Overview[]

In Sonic Speed Simulator, Traveler Chao is a collectible pet of the "Epic" rarity, it could be found in the "SPIN TO WIN" screen in the Emerald Hill Boss Battle, with a 5.14% chance of being rolled. Prior to the Sonic Shock update, Traveler Chao was a limited friend only available during the v1.18 Go Camping Event.

Players were rewarded 5 Traveler Chao throughout the event for collecting Grapes, gaining a Traveler Chao at 25,000, and another 4 Traveler Chao at 75,000.

In gameplay, Traveler Chao can be equipped to the playable character, allowing them to fly by the side of the playable character as they move around. In addition, when equipped, Traveler Chao will grant additional Experience Points whenever the playable character obtains a Chaos Orb and additional Rings whenever they pick up a single Ring. The player can as well level up Traveler Chao for a cost of Rings and/or Red Star Rings at the Upgrade Machine, with level 25 being the maximum level. Leveling up a Traveler Chao will improve its reward-granting attributes. Additionally, the player can fuse a Traveler Chao by collecting five Traveler Chao, leveling all of them up to maximum, and bringing them to the Fusion Machine. Fusing a Traveler Chao will result in a singular fused Chao at level 1.

Powers and abilities[]

Traveler Chao are capable of flight. In addition, they possess the power to increase the rewards granted to the person they have bonded with.
