The Travel Ring[1] (トラベルリング[2] Toraberu Ringu?) is an object that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is a variant of the Rings that are portals to other locations around Earth or into other dimensions in the Multiverse or even travel through space and time. The Travel Rings are also the main gimmick of Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, allowing racers to travel to and from CrossWorlds during races.

Description[]

Appearance[]

Travel Rings are featured as the main gimmick in Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, transporting racers to and from CrossWorlds. At the end of the first lap, two Travel Rings will appear, each leading to a randomly selected CrossWorld. The racer in first place can select which CrossWorld the second lap will take place in by driving in the corresponding lane. Another Travel Ring appears at the end of the lap, leading back to the main track.
