The Trap Gear (トラップギア,Torappugia?) is a Board type Extreme Gear that appears in Sonic Riders. It can set a nearly unrestricted number of Tornado traps.
According to its profile, the Trap Gear can execute unlimited Tornadoes. It can be purchased at the shop for 2,500 Rings from the beginning of the game.
Most of the Trap Gear's design resembles a typical, straight apple green and green-yellow board with white edges and apple green recesses. The rear of the Trap Gear, however, resembles a white gear with apple green edges and five teeth.
Abilities and traits
As a Board-type Extreme Gear in Sonic Riders, the Trap Gear is well-balanced in its attributes with average statistics, an average rate of fuel-consumption and is suited for general riding.
When using this particular Extreme Gear in a race, the Trap Gear can lay out a Tornado without it consuming any Air in the Trap Gear's Air Tank. This allows the player to set up a nearly unlimited number of Tornadoes as long as there is Air in the Trap Gear's Air Tank. However, it can not use Air Boosts.
