Transform Terrain[1] is an action used by Amy Rose in Sonic Boom: Fire & Ice. When using it, Amy delivers a hit with her hammer that shifts the terrain.
Description
When performing Transform Terrain, Amy pulls out her hammer and hits the ground in front of her with enough force to cause tremors that shift the terrain. With fire/Ice Mode active, this technique releases a shockwave of fire/ice.
In gameplay, using Transform Terrain near a pillar causes said pillar to lower for a short time, allowing the player to either walk over the pillar or ride it upward when it resets. Additionally, the move can damage enemies that are caught within its range. To use Transform Terrain in gameplay, the player must press 
. When pressing in midair, Amy will deliver the same kind of attack, except that she will spin with her hammer held out in a front of her. In this state, when hitting any enemies or breakable objects, she will bounce off it will still in an attack state.
