The Trampling Mechas are based on vultures, with these Badniks having a tall, cylindrical body composed of pink, gray, and yellow parts, short wings with light blue feathers, and a round, pink head with a curved beak and large eyes.
Overview[]
In Sonic Superstars, the Trampling Mechas can be encountered in both Sand Sanctuary Zone and Frozen Base Zone Act 1. In gameplay, the Trampling Mechas wait in the background for the player to approach, where upon detecting them the Trampling Mecha will hover in the air for a brief moment before landing with great force in an attempt to crush the player. If the Trampling Mecha does successfully land on the player, they will crush them, causing them to take damage. After staying in the foreground for several seconds though, the Trampling Mecha will go back into the background in order to repeat their attack pattern. Despite the Trampling Mecha's large size, the player can still easily destroy them via any attack method. Like with most Badniks in the game, the Trampling Mecha will release their Animal and award the player 100 points upon destruction.
Powers and abilities[]
In addition to their flight abilities, the Trampling Mechas are very tall and heavy, meaning they can land with great crushing force to harm their foes.
