Town Mission 6: The Hotel's Festival of Rings is the sixth mission in Sonic's story in Sonic the Hedgehog (2006). It takes place in New City, Soleanna. The local hotel is holding a special event known as the "Festival of Rings", celebrating the hotel's 15th anniversary. The main purpose of the festival is to show gratitude to the residents of Soleanna, so it does not cost anything to enter. The hotel manager, Ken Williams, encourages Sonic to participate by collecting at least 300 rings within a time limit of 5 minutes.

Guide

The goal of this mission is to collect 300 rings in less than five minutes. When the mission begins, destroy the two crates straight ahead and gather up the rings that spill out. Continue through the city, collecting rings on the ground, in the air (some of them can only be reached by using springs and the Light Speed Dash), from crates and from ring capsules as necessary. If enough rings are gathered before time is up, the mission is cleared.

Trivia

According to Ken Williams, the Festival of Rings marks the hotel's 15th anniversary. This references the fact that Sonic the Hedgehog celebrates Sonic's 15th anniversary.
