Town Mission 1: The winder of a Shoemaker is the first Town Mission in Sonic's story in Sonic the Hedgehog (2006).

Overview

The mission takes place in Castle Town, Soleanna. A shoemaker known as Alberto Robert has created a special pair of shoes he calls Custom Shoes, and they use the power of Gems to give the wearer special abilities. The shoes require testing, so he asks Sonic to try them out by running and jumping through rings around the town.

This Town Mission must be completed in order to enter Wave Ocean.

Guide

Being the first Town Mission in the game, this task is actually quite simple. Several orange rings have appeared along the streets of Castle Town, and the player has a time limit of two minutes to run and jump through each one. The rings are very easy to find, so the player should have little trouble. The Town Mission is cleared when every ring has been passed through in under two minutes. Afterwards, the player may keep the Custom Shoes and travel to Wave Ocean.
