Town Mission 18: The Test of Intelligence is the eighteenth Town Mission in Sonic's story in Sonic the Hedgehog (2006).

Overview

The mission takes place in the Forest of Soleanna, and is the first of three precursory trials which Sonic must pass in order to access Kingdom Valley, preceding The Test of Courage and The Test of Love. After being taken to a sacred area in the Forest by the Bishop, a priest gives Sonic a test of his intelligence, which involves using warp gates to travel around the forest and reach the Goal Ring.

Guide

In this simple Town Mission, the player must reach the Goal Ring by using portals (some of which are marked by numbered crates) that are scattered around the forest in groups. There is only one correct combination of portals that will lead to the goal. At the first and second group of portals, the player must enter the one in the middle. Next, they should turn around and enter the portal next to the tree. They should then take the portal directly on the right, then bounce on the spring and off of the trees. This should lead to the Goal Ring, and the Town Mission will be cleared upon reaching it.
