The Time Eater is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by IDW Publishing. It was a mysterious monster that Sonic the Hedgehog once faced at some point in the past.[1]

Appearance

The Time Eater was a large entity with several mechanical parts. Its black face had many pointed edges, including pointed edges that seem to be its top row of teeth. It also had narrow and blue-glowing eyes, long ears/horns, and a mechanical jaw with golden teeth and gears. Its upper body had two cockpits with purple-colored dome covers, and purple spikes all around it. Directly below its lower body, it had a purple orb held in place by a thin spine. It also had four arms, each one made up of layers of golden gears and spinning disks. These arms also had round hands with five golden fingers each and purple-glowing claws.

History

Past

At some point in the past, the Time Eater was used by Dr. Eggman for one of the plans of his. Eventually, the Time Eater and Dr. Eggman faced off against Sonic the Hedgehog, but were defeated.[1]
