Tikal[1] is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. She was a mobian echidna spirit that was fused with Chaos to become Tikhaos, and the Light Mobius counterpart of Mobius Prime's Tikal.

History[]

Past[]

Tikal and Chaos were both released at some point during the Elemental War. During this conflict, Tikal had to bind herself to Chaos, thereby merging them into Tikhaos.[1] However, in this state, Tikal hungered for Chaos energy, and taking in too much of that energy would make her lose control.[2] Becoming a threat to herself and others, Tikhaos was contained and quarantined in the catacombs deep within Castle Mobius.[1][2]

Mobius: 30 Years Later[]

Shortly after the celebration of the Five Years of Peace, Tikhaos was released from her confines beneath Castle Mobius by Shadow the Hedgehog. With Tikhaos hungering for Chaos energy, Shadow supplied her with an excessive amount of Chaos energy, resulting in the Tikal entity within Tikhaos to lose control and transforming into Perfect Tikhaos.[2] Thanks to the efforts of the Future Freedom Fighters however, Perfect Tikhaos was subdued before she could destroy the planet and, by Lara-Su using Tikal's Prayer, she was able to split Tikal and Chaos into seperate beings once again.[1]
