Thunder Shield Wall
The Thunder Shield Wall is an Item Box power-up that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series
Description [ ] The Thunder Shield Wall's icon takes form of a shield, which its appearance as green shield, three stripes hole and metal circle in center with three spikes shape surround and point at it; surrounded by the cyan lightning bolt aura in its wake. In gameplay, the Thunder Shield Wall becomes a line of shields in front of the user down the track, moving up and down continuously.
Overview [ ] In gameplay, the Thunder Shield Wall can only be obtained at random from Item Boxes by Valhalla Surge . As with most other Items, Metal Sonic and Metal Sonic Mach 3.0 can also use the Thunder Shield Wall if they use the Steal Item, or Fortune Teller Amy if she uses Lucky Draw or Wall of Cards to steal it from the aforementioned user.
Once obtained, the player can utilize the Thunder Shield Wall by pressing its icon on the bottom of the HUD. When used, the Thunder Shield Wall will drop its shields, moving up and down continuously, some distance ahead of the user's current location on all the lanes that the user is not currently on. If a character, including the user themselves, touches one of these traps, they will take damage, causing them to lose Rings and slow down momentarily. To avoid the Thunder Shield Wall, the playable character must either jump over its traps, slide under (if possible to do so) or run in-between them.
The Thunder Shield Wall can also be upgraded by leveling the user up to level 4, 10 and 16 respectively. For each upgrade, the player will increase the damage dealt with the Thunder Shield Wall.
