Throbbin Screech is a character that appears in the Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog television series. He is an anthropomorphic bird that hosts a show called Lifestyles of the Very Good.

Appearance

Throbbin Screech is a blue chicken mobian with a yellow chest and orange beak. He also wears a red bowtie and carries a microphone.

History

TV series

Season one

When Dr. Ivo Robotnik wanted to be interviewed on Throbbin Screech's show, Lifestyles of the Very Good, Screech rejected him and interviewed Sonic the Hedgehog instead. The next day, Dr. Robotnik kidnapped Screech's niece as revenge and threatened to throw her into a lava pool if he was invited on Screech's show. Having no choice, Screech redundantly interviewed Dr. Robotnik on his next show. He was likewise forced by the doctor to rename his show "Lifestyles of the Sick and Twisted".

Robotnik also forced Screech to help him vaporize a lake and trap Tails. Continuing his show, Screech covered Robotnik as he had a captured Sonic appear on Screech's show and prepared to have the hedgehog meet his end. Screech came to enjoy covering Robotnik as his shows ratings were higher than ever, when Sonic called him out for selling out his niece, Throbbin replied thats how it is in show biz.

After Sonic and his allies foiled Robotnik and his scheme however, Screech returned to Sonic's side, though he was more excited to get his TV show back than his niece.

• He speaks in a slight English accent.
