Sonic, Manic, and Sonia find an abandoned baby in an alley and begin a search for the baby's parents. Manic grows particularly fond of the child and decides that instead of taking the baby to a shelter as Sonic and Sonia ordered, the baby would be more comfortable at the Underground sanctuary. While Sonia and Sonic are working to uncover another plot of Robotnik they find that the baby is not a baby at all, but an android equipped with cameras to spy on the Underground. Sonia and Sonic frantically search for their brother before he, unknowingly, exposes the location of the secret sanctuary.
While in [[Robotropolis]], [[Sonic the Hedgehog (Sonic Underground)|Sonic]], [[Sonia the Hedgehog|Sonia]], and [[Manic the Hedgehog]] find an abandoned [[Hip Hedgehog|baby hedgehog]]. While Sonic and Sonia search for its parents, Manic is left to mind it and get in touch with his fathering instincts. But the baby isn't as innocent as it looks, as [[Doctor Robotnik (Sonic Underground)|Doctor Robotnik]] comes within an inch of uncovering [[Sanctuary]].

"Three Hedgehogs and a Baby" is the twentieth episode of the Sonic Underground television series. It first aired on 14 March 1999 in France and on 24 September 1999 in the United States. It was included in Volume 2 and Sonic Christmas Blast.

Plot

Sonic, Manic, and Sonia find an abandoned baby in an alley and begin a search for the baby's parents.
