If you want to discuss glitches in a game, then trying to include everything in the middle of a gallery is cluttered. If you want to go in depth with this, then the Glitches pages is the place to go. You can then make a simple link from the images displaying a glitch to the section there.
These are rail pieces to the rail connection, but they're transparent due to a material flag used in the game to make the pieces appear that way. I don't have the specific name to them because I don't have the guide books which have the object names on certain walkthroughs. So that's why I just called them transparent grind rails and they're also generic switch rails.
No. I am asking if you came up with that name yourself. Because if you did, then I am afraid it is not qualified for an independent articles. You see, we cannot go around making up terms and definitions ourselves as it deviates from the terms set by the official media and can clutter the wikia with unnecessary or wrong terms. I have also checked the official game guide for Sonic Heroes: it only refers to these rails as "rails". As such, they are better off being mentioned as a part of the Grind Rail article.
I know these are just rails. But if you do feel they should be merged within the Grind rails article, then you could either put a redirect or whatever would be best. I've put the information of what these do when you touch a switch to them which that is something that shouldn't be forgotten. What about the switches to them which would call the switch object "Rail Switches"?
If there is not independent name for them revealed in either the game or the game guide, then it falls under the term Switch. However, details about it can be mentioned under the "Sonic Heroes" section on the Switch article.
