Thorndyke Industries[1] (スターシップソフト[2] Sutāshippusofuto?, lit. "Starship Soft") is a group that appears in the anime series Sonic X and its comic books published by Archie Comics. It is a software and housing company owned by Nelson Thorndyke which holds 70% of the Earth's computer market.[3]

During the race between Sonic and Sam Speed, Nelson had Thorndyke Industries sponsored the race.[3]

Emerl Saga[]

Some time later, Eggman would spend time in prison modifying appliances meant for the company into sentient robots to do his bidding. At the same time, several of the company's employees were taking long vacations and calling in absent due to the Freedom Movement.[1]
