The Pentagon is a location that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog film series produced by Paramount Pictures and its spin-offs. It is the headquarters of the United States military.

The Pentagon is a significantly large building shaped like a regular pentagon with a hollowed-out space in the center. It serves as the headquarters of the top officials in the United States military, whose duty is to defend the United States from threats to the country.

After a huge power blackout across the Pacific Northwest with an electromagnetic pulse occurred, word of the incident soon reached the Pentagon. During a joint meeting of the top brass of the United States military, Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs Commander Walters thought that they need additional help to investigate the incident. He suggested calling on Dr. Robotnik, despite concerns from the Joint Chiefs, especially the United States Air Force Chief of Staff, about bringing Robotnik into this. Despite this, Walters told them that they had no other options but to consider him on the matter, though the Air Force Chief of Staff spoke for everyone saying that he could not believe Walters was going to bring Robotnik, the aptly-dubbed "freak", into the situation.
