The Kraken's crew is a group that appears in the Sonic Prime television series. It is a pirate crew led by Captain Knuckles the Dread, and temporarily by Sonic the Hedgehog. They live in No Place and sail the sea on board their stolen ship, the Kraken. The ship was formally piloted by Rusty Rose before her change in heart and owned by the Chaos Council.
History[]
TV series[]
Season two[]
With the Eggforcers defeated and the blue Prism Shard in Dread's possession, the Angel's Voyage crew assumed control of the submarine and abandoned their ship, under the Dread's belief that, "A good captain goes down with his ship, but a great captain steal someone else's." Rusty Rose, who had been tied up and taken in as prisoner, revealed the submarine's name to be the Kraken.[1]
When Dr. Done-It and Dr. Deep arrived in No Place on the Yolkomotive, successfully captured the Shard from Dread, and disabled all of the Kraken's main systems, but also deserted Rusty Rose. In response, Rusty Rose agreed to join the pirate crew and help restore power to the Kraken. The crew then used the Kraken to give chase to the Yolkomotive, much to the surprise of Dr. Done-It. The chase was brought underwater, damaging the Loop-De-Loop in the process. After resurfacing, both the Kraken and the Yolkomotive headed into a joust, which damaged the Kraken's starboard side, rendering it unable to fly.[1][2]
Season Three[]
Sonic would join with the crew along with the Scavengers and the Resistance, to form an alliance with the Chaos Council. When Sonic realised that Catfish, Froggy, Batten, and Sails were left behind in No Place,[3] they would go back and save them before it was too late, as well as members from Dread's old crew.[4] They would join Sonic and the others in the war with Nine and his Grim Troopers which would cause the Kraken would explode.
