Termite-Nator is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. It was a termite-based Badnik created by Dr. Ivo Robotnik as a means of eliminating the Knothole Freedom Fighters by eating away the Great Forest.
History[]
Robotnik used a fake ant-farm business to trick Rotor Walrus into acquiring a Termite-Nator. As soon a Rotor released it from it's can, it began to eat an oak table. Before long, it had eaten all of the furniture and almost all of the books of Freedom HQ, and it would have eaten the entire Great Forest had Sonic the Hedgehog not tricked it into eating a log with some extra-thick pancake batter. With its jaws disabled, it was easily rewired to consume metal and sent back to Robotropolis, where it grabbed Robotnik and was fed metal to deter it from eating the Badnik Horde. Its final fate is unknown.[1]
Sonic would later mention the Termite-Nator and the events while exploring Robotnik's History Device.[2]
