Tentou (テントー Tentō?)[1] is an enemy that appears in Sonic Advance. It is a mass-produced, ladybug-based Badnik model created by Dr. Eggman and a variant of the Moto Bug.

Sonic runs under the Tentous.
Tentous only appear in Secret Base Zone. In gameplay, these robots fly left and right near the ceiling, occasionally pausing to fire energy balls. The Tentous are somewhat hard to avoid, especially when they come in large numbers. Once these Badniks fly however, the player has the chance to attack them.
Trivia
- "Tentou" is short for "tentoumushi" (テントウムシ?), the Japanese word for "ladybird".
